Frank Loesser and Jule Styne: Broadway giants online

LoGograph launches top-drawer developments for the legendary Broadway composers Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) and Jule Styne (Gypsy, Funny Girl). We are honored to have been part of these projects, and proud to continue the legacy of two Broadway giants.

Frank Loesser has been called the most versatile of all Broadway composers. The late master's five Broadway musicals were as different from each other as they were from the theatre of their day: Where's Charley?, Guys And Dolls, The Most Happy Fella, Greenwillow and How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

LoGograph developed an entirely new web development for Frank Loesser Enterprises, to replace a "static" website unable to cope with both the licensing demands for his songs and shows, and a robust database to place his entire catalogue of works on the internet. With Loesser revivals happening internationally, the company demanded a sophisticated communications system to appropriately sort, delegate, and track licensing requests.

With the scores of such Broadway classics as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Peter Pan, Bells Are Ringing, Gypsy and Funny Girl to his credit, the late composer Jule Styne ranks as one of the undisputed architects of the American musical theater.

Unbelievably, a development planned for his Centennial year – the first official Jule Styne website – was stalled in development, and, after a recommendation from Frank Loesser Enterprises, LoGograph's parent company EnTechneVision was brought on board for a "rescue" mission.

LoGograph developed an extensive database for Jule Styne Enterprises to place his biography, works, and personal photos online for the first time. Management at the Styne offices was able to review and update the site copy through a Content Management System. We also collaborated on the branding for Jule Styne 100 Years and capped the launch with a holday greeting card to friends and colleagues: a personal touch.
